President Donald Trump announced a 90-day pause on new tariffs as his trade war shakes the global economy.
Simultaneously, he announced that he would raise tariffs on China to 125%, escalating his tit-for-tat exchange with Beijing.
Trump stated that he has "authorized a 90-day PAUSE and a substantially reduced Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately."
