ETH Sold at a Loss by WLFI Supported by the Trump Family! Initial Estimate of Ether Holdings Shows Over $100 Million Unrealized Loss
According to information from the on-chain data platform Arkham, wallet addresses associated with the cryptocurrency project World Liberty Finance (WLFI), supported by the Trump family, sold a total of 5,471 Ether through CowSwap this morning, exchanging for a total of $8 million USDC.
This project purchased 67,498 Ether at an average price of about $3,259 earlier this year, with a total cost of approximately $210 million. Based on the current price, it has an unrealized loss of about $125 million. Just two months ago, Eric Trump, son of Donald Trump, publicly stated that now is a good time to buy ETH, when the trading price of ETH was $2,880.
