A few months back, someone reached out to me on Telegram claiming to be from an exclusive "crypto investment group." They offered early access to a so-called private token pre-sale. Website slick tha, fake testimonials bhi the, aur ek flashy countdown timer bhi — sab kuch legit dikhane ke liye.

Lekin sabse pehle jo odd laga, wo tha unka pushy behaviour — “send funds quickly”, and only in crypto. Major red flag.

Maine thoda aur dig kiya — reverse image search kiya unke “team members” ke photos ka… aur surprise surprise — sab LinkedIn se churaaye gaye random log nikle.

Group ko report kiya, aur literally ek scam se bach gaya.

Here’s what I learned: ✅ If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

✅ Urgency + exclusivity = classic manipulation.

✅ Hamesha verify karo — CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, aur trusted crypto communities ka use karo.

FOMO mein mat aao, smarter bano. Scam-proof investing is the real alpha.
