What happens if ETH collapses?
I'm talking about a systemic collapse, not just a price drop: $ETH #Ethereum
A halt in the network, a freeze in DeFi, a massive destruction like the erasure of NFTs.
So, what does Bitcoin do in this situation?
Let's begin…
2/
In the short term, there will be chaos.
If ETH collapses, many structures from USDC to DAI will also collapse.
Panic will ensue in the market.
Bitcoin will take the first hit as well.
Because when people are scared, they exit everything.
3/
In the medium term, a search for trust will begin.
Investors will turn to a more solid, simpler, and uncorrupted structure.
There is only one name there: Bitcoin.
There will be a flight to BTC, and its dominance will quickly rise.
4/
In the long term, Bitcoin will solidify its throne.
Dozens of chains are discussed as potential replacements for Ethereum...
But none can capture that ecosystem effect.
Bitcoin, however, will grow with the perception that "crypto hasn't ended here."
5/
So in summary:
The collapse of Ethereum initially shakes Bitcoin but ultimately strengthens it.
This event is like pressing the reset button on crypto.
Sometimes, a giant must fall for the system to be reborn.
6/
And finally:
The collapse of ETH is a disaster, but for BTC, it is both a test and an opportunity.
Remember: Bitcoin feeds on chaos.
