#AirdropSafetyGuide 🚨💣🚨 5 Red Flags That Scream “Airdrop Scam” (From Experience) Airdrops can be a great way to earn, but they’re also magnets for scams. Here are 5 warning signs I personally watch for — and you should too. 1. They Ask You to Connect Your Wallet Before Anything Else If a site immediately asks you to connect your wallet before explaining the project or campaign, that’s a big red flag. Legit airdrops usually give clear details before asking for interaction. 2. They Want You to Sign Suspicious Transactions Scammers may try to trick you into signing a transaction that gives them control of your tokens or NFTs. Always read transaction details. If you don’t understand it, don’t sign it. 3. Too-Good-To-Be-True Rewards If a site promises hundreds or thousands of dollars instantly for minimal tasks, it’s likely bait. Real airdrops tend to reward active participation — not random windfalls. 4. No Official Source or Communication I always double-check via official project channels: their website, X (Twitter), or Discord. If airdrop details aren’t shared there, I assume it’s fake. 5. URL Looks Suspicious or Has Misspellings Scam sites often use typosquatting. For example, I almost clicked on “arbtrum.foundation” instead of “arbitrum.foundation”. Be extra careful with links — better to type them manually or use bookmarks. Example: I once spotted a fake “LayerZero airdrop” that mimicked their branding perfectly. But the site wanted me to sign a “claim” transaction — when I checked the data, it was actually an approval for all tokens in my wallet. I backed out and reported it on X. Tip: Use a separate wallet just for airdrop farming — one with no major funds. Even if compromised, your losses are minimized. Stay smart and stay safe! Your wallet security is worth more than any free tokens. ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

🛡️ #AirdropSafetyGuide How I Stay SAFU In the world of airdrops, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Here’s how I protect myself: 🚩 Red Flags I Watch For: • Poorly written websites or fake domains pretending to be legit projects • No verified socials or team members hidden behind anonymity • “Connect wallet to claim” pages that immediately trigger approval requests • Sudden DMs about airdrops I never signed up for 🔍 How I Verify Projects: • I check smart contracts on Etherscan/BSCScan for red flags (like approve() functions) • Look at liquidity, holders, and contract age • Lurk in project Discords or TG groups — real communities are active and transparent ⚠️ Scam I Avoided: I once got a fake “LayerZero” airdrop DM. The link looked real, but the wallet signature prompt asked for unlimited token access. Instant red flag. Reported and blocked! Stay alert. Trust your gut. And always double-check before connecting your wallet.
