#TrumpTariffs this week the US president Donald Trump announced a tariff plan that imposes a base rate of 10% on imports from all countries, with Mexico and Canada being temporarily exempted, but products not covered by the free trade agreement will face tariffs of 25%. Furthermore, Trump threatened to increase tariffs on China to 104% if the country withdraws its trade retaliations by April 8, 2025. About 50 expressed interest in negotiating these tariffs.
