Binance Founder @CZ Joins Pakistan as Crypto Advisor
In a major boost to Pakistan’s digital future, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of #BİNANCE , has been named Strategic Advisor to the Pakistan Crypto Council. This move shows Pakistan’s strong commitment to embracing blockchain, Web3, and digital finance.
The announcement came after a key meeting led by Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, with top officials from the State Bank, Securities and Exchange Commission, and ministries of Law and IT.
“This is a proud moment for Pakistan,” said the Finance Minister. “With CZ’s experience, we’re taking big steps to become a regional leader in the digital economy."
#CZ also met with the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, highlighting the government’s strong support for crypto and innovation.
Bilal Bin Saqib, Chief Adviser to the Finance Minister, said: “Pakistan is stepping into the future of finance. Having CZ as an advisor gives us a global edge."
As an advisor, CZ will guide Pakistan on crypto laws, tech infrastructure, awareness programs, and boosting adoption across the country.
CZ praised Pakistan’s young population, saying, “With over 240 million people and a majority under 30, the country has huge potential in the digital world.”
