The demand for bamboo in Inle Lake during this period is extremely high. The available bamboo in and around Inle Lake is insufficient to meet the needs.
For the house shown in the image below:
- Ridge pole: 22 feet
- Length:22 feet
- Width: 18 feet
- Construction cost: Approximately $150
To build one such house, the following bamboo is required:
- 35 large bamboo poles
- 70 small bamboo poles
- 20 supporting bamboo poles for the roof
**Ground teams must also carefully manage donation distributions** to ensure:

- No locations are left without support
