Liu Mancang is expelled from the Party

With the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission conducted a case investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Liu Mancang, former deputy secretary and vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress. Upon investigation,

Liu Mancang lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, and engaged in superstitious activities; violated the spirit of the Central Committee's Eight Provisions, and improperly accepted banquets;

Contravened organizational principles, failed to report personal matters as required, sought benefits for others in the selection and appointment of cadres, and accepted money and gifts;

Lost the bottom line of integrity, improperly accepted gifts, cash, and consumption cards, and used his power to seek benefits for relatives' business activities;

Greedy and corrupt, refusing to retire, using public power as a tool for personal gain, leveraging his position to benefit others in business operations, land remediation, real estate project development, etc., and illegally accepting huge amounts of property.

Liu Mancang seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery and bribery through influence. After the 18th National Congress of the Party, he did not restrain or stop his behavior, the nature is serious, and the impact is severe, and he should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervisory Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and other relevant provisions, after research by the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and reported to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for approval, it was decided to expel Liu Mancang from the Party; his entitlements will be revoked according to regulations; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected criminal issues will be transferred to the procuratorial authority for legal review and prosecution, along with the involved property.
