In a powerful display of solidarity and swift humanitarian action, Binance Charity has teamed up with Binance co-founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) to support users affected by the devastating earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. Together, they are leading a $1.5 million initiative to directly airdrop BNB token vouchers to those impacted in the disaster zones.

Blockchain for Relief: Fast, Transparent, and Borderless

With the power of blockchain technology, Binance Charity continues to redefine how disaster relief is delivered—quickly, transparently, and directly to those who need it most. Leveraging user KYC (Know Your Customer) and POA (Proof of Address) data, Binance will identify eligible users in the affected regions and distribute BNB token vouchers via the Binance Reward Hub.


Distribution details are as follows:


🇲🇲 For Myanmar Users:

  • $5 in BNB for all KYC-verified and active users.


    $50 in BNB for users with both KYC and POA in the most impacted areas.



    🇹🇭 For Thailand Users (via Gulf Binance):

  • $5 in BNB for users with KYC completed and an address in Thailand.


    $10 in BNB for users with KYC and an address in the most affected Thai regions.


The airdrop is expected to be fully distributed by April 14, 2025.


A Joint Pledge for Humanity

CZ has personally pledged 500 BNB each for both Myanmar and Thailand, emphasizing the role that digital assets can play in real-world humanitarian efforts.
