Ask them why, and they'll usually say something like, "It's going down, so I sold." But truthfully, most don't understand the bigger picture—they're just acting out of fear. Global tensions—conflicts involving countries like Iran, Lebanon, Israel, Pakistan, and India—are creating uncertainty. This unease causes smaller investors to panic and exit the market. But here's what's really going on: large investors, known as "whales," often trigger these drops intentionally. They sell off portions of their holdings, which causes prices to dip. When smaller traders see this, they get scared and sell too—driving the price even lower. Then what? The whales swoop back in and buy up the dip at a discount. It's a tactic: create fear, buy low, and profit later. Meanwhile, the small investors lose out because they sold too early. The takeaway? Don’t follow the crowd blindly.
