China develops the most complex processor chip in the world with a thickness of one nanometer ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ’ป

Scientists in China have succeeded in developing the most precise and complex chip in the world, made from a two-dimensional (2D) semiconductor material that is only one nanometer thick ๐Ÿงฌโœจ.

This chip contains 5,900 individual transistors and fully executes RISC-V instructions with a 32-bit architecture ๐Ÿ”งโš™๏ธ.

As silicon circuits approach their physical limits in miniaturization, scientists are turning to new materials such as molybdenum disulfide and tungsten diselenide, which are only one atom thick and are ideal for future circuits ๐ŸŒโšก.
