Jaguar Land Rover will pause all U.S. shipments for a month in response to Trump’s new 25% tariff on imported cars and light trucks.
The UK-based automaker—owned by India’s Tata Motors—exports nearly a quarter of its 400,000 annual vehicle sales to the U.S., including Range Rovers and Defenders.
The move heightens fears across Britain’s auto industry, which employs 200,000 and counts the U.S. as its second-largest export market.
