Porsche returns to military equipment production for the first time in over 60 years. Due to significant losses in the automotive sector caused by a market downturn in Germany, the company decided to pivot to the defense industry. Following the example of Volkswagen, which also intends to manufacture weapons for the German army, Porsche is resuming its activities in this field. The last time the company was involved in the creation of military equipment was in the 1960s when it developed the Leopard tanks.
