The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced plans to allocate about 1 billion euros in 2025 to support the recovery of Ukraine's energy infrastructure damaged as a result of the conflict with Russia. The funding is aimed at decentralizing and modernizing the energy sector, particularly increasing the share of renewable energy sources.

The EBRD and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) are investing 157 million euros in the construction of a private wind farm in Ukraine. The company OKKO plans to build stations with a total capacity of 147 MW, which will contribute to the development of renewable energy in the country.
5. Decrease in foreign direct investment
According to official data, in 2024, foreign direct investment in Ukraine decreased by 1.16 billion dollars, reaching a level of 3.33 billion dollars. This reduction raises concerns and requires further analysis of the causes and consequences.
Overall, the investment market in Ukraine shows activity in the energy and technology sectors, but remains sensitive to external factors and requires further efforts to attract foreign investment.
