#TrumpTariffs 🚨 The New York Stock Exchange opened with losses of "trillions of dollars" this Thursday, a day after President Donald Trump announced tariffs on almost all countries, according to NBC.
🚨 Following the market opening, approximately 1.7 trillion dollars were lost from the S&P 500 index, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 2.9% and the NASDAQ, with a strong presence of technology companies, recorded a sell-off of 4.5%.
💥💥Is it good or bad?💥💥
All of this translates to multi-billion dollar losses. The large technology companies were the most affected. Apple, according to Bloomberg, suffered losses of nearly 280 billion dollars, followed by Nvidia, which had a negative balance of over 145 billion, and Amazon, with 142 billion dollars.
Due to the high tariffs imposed on China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, companies like Apple and Nike presented a more severe damage, as their production depends on their supplies.
