Spring may have just begun, but at FIO Protocol, we’ve already been in full bloom 🌸. March 2025 was nothing short of electric. From major conference appearances and new exchange listings to robust educational initiatives and community giveaways, FIO continues marching forward as the industry’s leading protocol for Web3 usability.

Here’s a look at everything we accomplished together this month 👇
Expanding Global Reach: Events, Conferences, and Community
FIO showed up in full force and had a booth set up at Web3 Amsterdam, one of the most inclusive blockchain, AI, and NFT conferences of the year. Our Head of Growth, Blockchain Wayne, took the stage to share how FIO simplifies blockchain transactions and drives adoption through real-world use cases.
We also hosted our own FIO Side Event at Web3 Amsterdam, called CryptoCanal’s Crypto Drinks where attendees learned more about our on-chain governance, partner integrations, and even got hands-on help registering their first FIO Handle. The session wrapped with an open Q&A and live demos, continuing our mission to make crypto more understandable and accessible for all.
Meanwhile, our participation in the Annual Wealth Explosion in Fort Lauderdale brought blockchain to a wider audience. Wayne introduced crypto fundamentals to a packed room of investors, builders, and financial leaders, emphasizing FIO’s practical role in everyday Web3 engagement.
Campaigns, Contests, and Incentives
March saw the kickoff of FIO’s 5-Year Anniversary Giveaway — a celebration of resilience, innovation, and community. As part of the celebration, users who register a handle on the @diamondhands domain are automatically entered to win from a 10,000 $FIO prize pool, with 10 winners chosen at random. This campaign ends April 10th, see more details here.
That isn’t the only way to win. FIO and Bitrue launched a special Futures Trading Challenge, giving traders the chance to earn a share of $10,000 USDT and win their own custom FIO Handle. And for those looking to flex their creativity, our FIO Handle Showcase Contest invited the community to submit a fun or clever way they use their handle — whether through memes, videos, or photo submissions.
Driving Education: Academy Launch, Spaces & More
March also saw major growth in FIO’s educational efforts. In partnership with Mighty, we launched the FIO Academy, an open platform where users can explore courses like Introduction to FIO Protocol and Mastering FIO Domains — perfect for those new to crypto or looking to sharpen their Web3 skillset.
Our team also stayed active across Twitter Spaces, discussing everything from the role of EVMs and WASMs with Shido Global, to Web2 vs Web3 domains with Freename, to core community building with Wolfswap. Other notable appearances included collaborations with WOW Earn and a thought-provoking roundtable on meme culture with Kekius.
Fueling the Ecosystem: Listings, Partnerships, and Protocol Growth
March also brought great news on the exchange front. WEEX Futures officially listed FIO, giving users another place to trade and engage with the protocol. This follows earlier listings on Binance Futures, Kraken Pro, and Bybit Futures — making FIO more accessible than ever.
Meanwhile, our Affiliate Program continued to gain traction. Participants can earn up to 50% of the registration cost for FIO Domains and Handles created through links on domains they own. It’s an ongoing invitation to grow the protocol while earning along the way.
