I am very surprised by the new traders on Futures. They open a spot trade and end up losing more than 100% and sometimes even much more.
Okay, do you find your money lying on the street to open a spot trade without a stop loss? If you don’t want to set a stop loss or don’t care about the money, open an isolated trade so that if you run out of money, the loss closes at 100%. Why open a spot trade that keeps pulling from the portfolio until you lose all your money?
Beware of spot trading.
Beware of high leverage.
Beware of entering a trade before checking the price or at least looking at the market trend.
Spot trading is a disaster and continues to pull from the portfolio until you lose all your money.
Stick to isolated trading so that if you lose, you only lose the value of the trade you opened and nothing gets deducted from the balance.
