US President Donald Trump opposed the introduction of a temporary administration in Ukraine proposed by Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the spokesperson of the US State Department, Tami Bruce, as reported by Suspilne.
The US confirmed support for Ukraine's sovereignty.
According to Bruce, the authority in Ukraine is determined by the people in accordance with the Constitution.
"Yes, we know that Russia proposed a temporary administration in Ukraine, but it was not approved by President Trump. Ukraine is a constitutional democracy, and its governance is determined by the Constitution and the Ukrainian people," emphasized the State Department representative.
