🚀 María turned $100 into $768,000 in 6 years… but almost nothing in another crypto. Why? 🧐
Follow this thread and you will understand why some cryptos like BTC and BNB rise so much while others barely exceed $3. 🧵👇
1/ Six years ago, María bought:
🔹 1,255.72 $BNB with $50
🔹 2,631 $ADA with $50
📊 Today, her BNB is worth $766,000
📉 Her ADA is barely $1,957
What happened here? 🤔
2/ The key lies in the supply and issuance of tokens.
BNB is scarce, like BTC.
ADA has a massive issuance.
📌 Limited supply = Fewer tokens in circulation
📌 Inflationary supply = More tokens are printed and its value decreases
3/ 🔥 BNB has a cap of 200M tokens and burns more each quarter.
💰 ADA has 45,000 MILLION tokens… even though it is not inflationary, its large supply prevents it from rising much.
Can you imagine the price of BTC if it didn't have only 21M coins? 😵💫
4/ Other cryptos with inflationary supply:
❌ ETH, XRP, SOL, DOGE → Unlimited issuance = Value dilution
✅ BTC, BNB → Limited supply = More scarcity = Higher value over time
5/ 📢 Before investing in a crypto, check its tokenomics:
✔️ Does it have a limited issuance?
✔️ Does it regularly burn tokens?
✔️ How many are in circulation?
6/ If BTC did not have a limit of 21M, it would be worth $2.80 instead of $65,000+.
💡 It's not just about "buying cheap and waiting"… supply matters more than you think.
