I have been following the development of Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and actively participating in several DeFi and NFT projects based on BSC. In this article, I will share my usage experience and some practical advice for beginners getting started with BSC!

BSC is known for its low transaction fees and fast transaction confirmations, making it very suitable for users in the DeFi, GameFi, and NFT fields. During my use of BSC, BNB played a crucial role:
✅ BNB as GAS fee: Any transaction on BSC (such as transfers, participating in DeFi, buying NFTs) requires paying a very low BNB as gas fee, which is more cost-effective compared to Ethereum.
✅ BNB participation in DeFi: I provided BNB liquidity on PancakeSwap to earn yields, while also participating in Staking mining to receive additional token rewards.
✅ BNB in the NFT field: I also used BNB to purchase several unique NFT artworks on the Binance NFT platform and tried some NFT games on BSC.
✅ BNB ecosystem: Many high-quality projects on BSC, such as Venus (lending), Alpaca Finance (leveraged yield), Biswap (DEX), etc., support trading and staking with BNB.
Overall, BNB is not only the fuel for the BSC network but also one of the most important assets in the DeFi, NFT, and GameFi ecosystems.
🔰 How can new users get started with BSC?
If you are a beginner on BSC, you can follow these steps to get started:
1️⃣ Create a wallet:
＊Use MetaMask or Trust Wallet, and then manually add the BSC mainnet.
2️⃣ Get BNB:
＊Purchase BNB on Binance exchange, and transfer it to your BSC wallet
(BNB is mainly used to pay gas fees).
3️⃣ Explore DeFi and NFT:
＊Exchange BNB for other tokens on PancakeSwap, or provide liquidity to earn yields.
＊Participate in GameFi projects, such as MOBOX, BinaryX, etc., using BNB to purchase
in-game items or participate in P2E (Play-to-Earn) models.
4️⃣ Pay attention to security:
＊Only interact with officially certified DApps to avoid falling into scam projects.
＊Stay updated on the latest developments in BSC, learn more about blockchain knowledge, and enhance your scam awareness.
