Dear Colleagues,
This article will be a bit different from those you are used to reading from me. I think you will like it and it will make you think. The crypto world is not just charts and money. It reflects much more than you might assume.
I see you beyond portfolios and charts – I see your stories, emotions, and cultures. Here are five things I want to share with you:
1. Your culture is your compass. In Bulgaria, we may be seeking stability after turbulent times, in Latin America – an escape from inflation, in Japan – harmony with technology. Whatever drives you, it defines why you choose a particular token or strategy. Recognize this – it is your unique strength in this market.
2. Your emotions are ancient, but they can be managed. When the market drops and your hands tremble to sell – that is the survival instinct. When everyone is buying and you want to join in – that is our old need to follow the crowd. Do not be ashamed of them, but give yourself a moment to ask: 'Is this my decision?'
3. Time is your ally, not your enemy. In crypto, everything seems fast – rockets, crashes, news. But our psychology often pushes us towards haste, and our cultures teach us differently – some wait, others act. Learn to use the pause: a day of thinking can change ten years of results.
4. Trust, but verify – culturally and personally. In communities where trust is high (like in small countries), we easily get caught up in the hype. In others, where skepticism reigns, we miss opportunities. Find balance – listen to your leaders, but dig deeper.
5. Crypto is more than profit – it is a reflection of us. It is not just about money, but about how we want to live. In Africa, people trade P2P for freedom, in Europe, they hold stablecoins for security. What do you want?
Share what drives you – why are you here, what scares or excites you?
