King Tutankhamun was a great king
King Tutankhamun, better known as King Tut, is perhaps the most well-known of the Egyptian pharaohs. He was a pharaoh who became famous by a tomb opened in 1922 by Howard Carter in which Tut was buried with almost all of his artifacts still intact. Most royal tombs had been emptied of their treasure and their artifacts, but Tut's tomb was something that had never been done before (at least relatively speaking). Tut's rule was not a long reign, nor was it a great military rule, but the intrigue surrounding his life and death is meant to keep him alive as the most famous pharaoh of ancient Egypt. Today, Tut is well known as an icon of ancient Egypt, and his artifacts are an incredible source of fascination for historians and the general public.
King Tutankhamun has nothing to do with $TUT.
I wrote it because when I hear the sound "TUT," I automatically think of Tut in my mind.
