Hoodi testnet upgrade 'Dress Rehearsal Successful'! Ethereum Pectra upgrade to land on mainnet in Q2
Ethereum takes another step towards a significant upgrade, the development team successfully launched the Pectra upgrade on the Hoodi testnet on Wednesday. Based on the current progress, this Pectra upgrade is expected to officially land on the mainnet as early as the second quarter (Q2) of this year.

Hoodi is a new testnet specifically launched by the Ethereum team on March 17, aimed at conducting final tests for the Pectra upgrade. Due to technical issues encountered in two previous attempts on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets, which delayed the upgrade progress, the development team decided to carve out a new battlefield to ensure the smooth operation of the Pectra upgrade in a brand new testing environment.
