Last night's hype event was, for me, a black swan event.
Because I was relatively optimistic about the hype, I started buying from 25, and then it kept dropping to 12.
During this period, I was trading to lower my cost, and by last night, my cost had dropped to 15.5. Looking at the candlestick patterns, I felt there might be a correction, expecting it to possibly go down to around 13. I didn’t expect such an event to happen, which directly dropped it to 12. It was truly a surprise.
So sometimes it feels like there is a higher power at play; I originally thought the correction would follow the decline of Bitcoin, and Bitcoin would decline with the US stock market, but I didn’t expect it to be affected in this way. It was both expected and unexpected. Unfortunately, I got too excited last night, boasting with friends and missed the opportunity to add when it hit the lowest point. After last night's addition, I closed my position today, and now my cost has dropped to 14.3. I will continue to wait for the opportunity to add more.
