Ben Armstrong, widely known as "BitBoy," was arrested in Florida on March 25, 2025. The Volusia County Division of Corrections listed him as a fugitive from justice, taken into custody at 7:18 PM local time.
Days prior, on March 21, Armstrong posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that warrants for his arrest were issued due to emails he sent to Cobb County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs while representing himself legally. He claimed these emails led Judge Childs to delete her social media accounts.
This incident marks Armstrong's second arrest in recent months. In September 2023, he was detained in Gwinnett County, Georgia, during a live-streamed confrontation with a former business partner over a Lamborghini. Authorities charged him with loitering, prowling, and simple assault, and reported finding a firearm and illegal drugs in his vehicle.
Additionally, reports indicate that Armstrong was involved in a confrontation with staff at a Popeyes restaurant prior to his recent arrest. Footage circulating online shows him visibly agitated during the incident, though specific details have not been disclosed by authorities.
As of now, Armstrong remains in custody without bail. Further details regarding his legal representation and the progression of his case are yet to be released.
