$WLD World Network is in talks with Visa to link the functions of the on-chain cards to a self-custodied cryptocurrency wallet. The goal is to integrate Visa card functionality into World Network wallets, bringing stablecoin payments to thousands of merchants around the world that are part of the Visa network through various fintech and currency applications. "The plan is to create a fully connected wallet strategy so that it can be used for anything from forex to cryptocurrencies, loading into the wallet, sending to the wallet, and spending from the card. Basically, it’s about turning World Wallet into a mini bank account for anyone who wants it," a source told Coindesk. Earlier this month, World Network announced its World Chat application and its new feature that allows network users to send money through cryptocurrency transactions. It is worth remembering that last October, Worldcoin announced its name change to World (and World Network).
