People who have been in the cryptocurrency space for a long time, don't they understand social etiquette?

I have been full-time in the cryptocurrency space for about five years, quitting my job to focus on this before the pandemic.

Now that the New Year has just passed, there has indeed been some social interaction during this time.

From my own perspective, I feel that interacting with people is really troublesome. You will find that the happiness of various individuals comes from emotions, and their way of doing things is mostly emotion-driven.

I only care about results; whether individuals are hypocritical or genuine doesn't matter to me. I only care if it is meaningful. However, social activities often lead to more meaningless results for those in the cryptocurrency space.

Understanding social etiquette is not necessary at all because everything I face is dead; I don't need to deal with people or learn the ways to endear oneself to a living being. It's not that I can't learn it, but more that it's unnecessary and quite troublesome.

This is just a reflection of the majority of the lower-tier groups in the cryptocurrency space. Excessive socializing can occupy your thoughts and deplete your energy.

One could say that those engaged in cryptocurrency have discarded social etiquette because it holds no meaning for them. It's not that they can't, but rather that from the perspective of the 16 personality types, a large proportion of traders in the financial industry belong to the INTP, INTJ, and INFP groups. These three types inherently have a lower desire for social interaction.

After spending a long time in the cryptocurrency space, one's personality becomes increasingly reclusive. There is a strong utilitarian view of things because the cryptocurrency space, especially for traders, is a market that is constantly changing 24 hours a day, which also makes one more conscious of their time. Many ways to unwind involve mental pleasure, and they won't actively choose socializing.

Social etiquette is really useless in a brutal market that does not believe in emotions and does not require emotional intelligence.

Still, as the saying goes, bulls have their strategies, and bears have their playstyles. They won't lead their followers to bankruptcy, nor will they blindly open orders. They all seek victory steadily and firmly; those who want to eat meat, keep up!
