It is time for a strategy update on my journey of investing into crypto without spending any money :)

I started the WLD journey in August 23 and during the first 12 months my strategy looked like this:
Goals 2024:
1. Invest into crypto for free, only with WLD-Grants
1. Increase my amount of BTC before halving 2024
2. Diversification in my portfolio
Strategy until July 24:
With the drop of 3 WLD every two weeks I did always the same: I send 1 WLD to Binace and invested it into Earn Flex, I converted another 1 WLD into another coin (BTC mostly, but also SOL, XRP, ZIL) and invested it into Earn Flex as well - and I sent the last 1 WLD to my cold wallet.
Outcome after 1 year in July 24:
WLD: 30
BTC: 0,005
SOL: 0,32
XRP: 2,4
ZIL: 300
For free, yeay. XD
Whats up for 2025?
In July 24 Worldcoin extended the grants from 12 months/120 wld max to 24 months/180 wld max per user. Besides this, they introduced the Vault, basically a possibility to subscribe your WLD on World App for an annual return of 10% for the first 500 WLD.
Now there was no need to change my strategy in July 24, since the grants continued.
And I had a new GOAL FOR 2025:
Push the Vault on my WorldApp as high as possible to generate a monthly income of WLD, which continues after the grants will stop in July 25.
My thought was, to catch a rise in BTC and a drop of WLD at the same time. What can I say, this moment arrived in the beginning of February 25, when BTC was still around 98.000 $ and WLD already at only 1.20$.
Now there are 410 WLD in my World App Vault, creating around 3 WLD a month, independent from the grants. This will continue now automatically and I leave them in my vault until it reaches 500 WLD.
Besides this, I will take the monthly WLD grants until they stop in July 25 and convert them into BTC and others, continuing to build my free crypto portfolio. After July 25, I will take the monthly outcome of my Vault to continue my investments.
State of Portfolio in March 2025:
WLD: 410
BTC: 0.001
SOL: 0,32
XRP: 2,4
ZIL: 300
Overall goals 2025:
- Ok, mayor goal of establishing a monthly free supply of crypto to invest accomplished after 1,5 years now in March 25. It is slightly higher than the grants you get every month from world app. This might not seem big now, but I think it is actually the most important step.
- growing my portfolio. As you can see above, I already managed to grow my portfolio far beyond the maximum of the 180 WLD you get from World App without taking any risks. I am planning to continue this strategy. Also, if the opportunity arrives and WLD pumps, I will trade back a large portion of my BTC without cutting short on my WLD-amount in the Vault too much.
- getting more knowledge about crypto and trading to spend my monthly crypto income wisely during the next years. If you have any recommendations for good reads, let me know. :)
I'll keep you updated. When I started this journey I wasn't sure wether it would really work. Now I feel that this whole thing will grow significantly during the next years and beyond. Can't wait for the next halving, hehehe
