Trump's WLFI Project Buys MNT, Token Soars
According to data from Arkham, decentralized finance (DeFi) project World Liberty Financial has just purchased 3.539 million Mantle (MNT) tokens at an average price of $0.84 per token, totaling $3 million.
The deal is part of WLFI's larger $343 million investment plan, which includes 11 tokens such as ETH, WBTC, TRX, LINK, AAVE, ENA, MOVE, ONDO, SEI, AVAX, and MNT. Despite the ambitious investment, WLFI is currently suffering a temporary loss of about $109 million across its entire portfolio, reflecting market volatility.
However, the MNT purchase has quickly yielded positive initial results, drawing attention to the project's strategic direction.
Following the announcement of WLFI’s investment, Mantle’s MNT token price recorded a significant increase from $0.75 to $0.84. Within 24 hours, MNT has increased by 7.04%, currently standing at $0.8455, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
The market capitalization has increased accordingly, reaching $2.84 billion. Trading volume over the same period has increased by 14.23%, reaching $98.48 million. The price action shows a positive market reaction to WLFI’s participation, with MNT’s FDV currently at $5.25 billion.
MNT’s circulating supply is currently 3.36 billion tokens out of a total supply of 6.21 billion, indicating potential for growth if demand continues to increase.
