China stands to gain from the ongoing trade wars between the United States and their allies, said the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, in an interview with Bloomberg Television.

"The one who laughs or looks away is China," Kallas said Thursday on the sidelines of a G7 meeting in Canada. "It is really benefiting from the trade war between the United States and Europe."
