💥 A new project from Binance: The "Nillion" coin is given for free in exchange for locking balances.

Binance announced project number 65 within the pre-collection program, this time under the name of a new coin called Nillion (NIL). This project offers users the opportunity to receive this new coin for free in exchange for locking their balances of specific coins.

📌 What is the Nillion project?

Nillion is a decentralized network project aimed at providing what is known as "oblivious computing", an advanced technology that allows for the secure processing and storage of data while maintaining complete privacy for users.

This type of computing is a significant advancement in the field of data protection and enhances the potential use of decentralized networks in sensitive applications without the need to disclose private information.

📅 When does the reward distribution start?

The period for accumulating and earning Nillion rewards starts on March 21, 2025, at 00:00, and continues until March 23, 2025, at 23:59. This means the total duration is only three days.

During this period, anyone who locks their balance of participating coins will be eligible to receive units of the Nillion coin.

💰 How are the rewards distributed?

35 million units of the Nillion coin have been allocated as rewards within this program, which is equivalent to 3.5% of the total supply of the coin.

These rewards are distributed across three main pools as follows:

  • Binance coin pool: receives 80% of the total rewards, equivalent to 28 million units.

  • FDUSD pool: receives 10% of the rewards, which is 3.5 million units.

  • USDC pool: also receives 10% of the rewards, which is 3.5 million units.

📊 Daily reward distribution

During the three collection days, the daily distribution will be as follows:

Total daily rewards: 11,666,666 units.

Binance coin pool: 9,333,333 units daily.

FDUSD pool: 1,166,666 units daily.

USDC pool: 1,166,666 units daily.

🎯 What are the participation conditions?

To participate in this program, the user must:

  1. Lock their balances of Binance, FDUSD, or USDC coins within the platform.

  2. Complete the identity verification process (Know Your Customer).

  3. Commit to the maximum collection limit per hour, which has been set as follows:

  • 38,888 units for each user in the Binance coin pool.

  • 4,861 units for each user in the FDUSD pool.

  • 4,861 units for each user in the USDC pool.

📈 What happens after the collection ends?

Binance will officially list the Nillion coin in the market on March 24, 2025, at 13:00, and trading will open on several pairs, including the initial offering available for trading of about 195 million units of Nillion, representing about 19.5% of the total supply of the coin.

📌 Important notes

Binance will be the first and only entity to officially list the coin initially.

Any entity promoting the sale of this coin before the official listing date may be engaging in false or fraudulent promotion.

More details about the project are expected to be provided through a research report within 24 hours from the announcement date.
