Scammers are actually psychologists with Chinese characteristics. People need scammers to provide emotional value and spiritual support. If there are no scammers, many people will fall into painful spiritual emptiness. (Of course, there are certainly some scams abroad, but whether it is the national p2p in the past or the national anti-fraud in recent years, this is absolutely unique in the world)
For example, if you say to those people who have been deceived by Sima Nan on the Internet: "You see, I told you that this person is a liar, but you didn't believe it at that time", you will most likely not receive his thanks after he suddenly realizes his mistake, but a crazy attack, because this is not a question of cheating or being cheated, but that you stepped on them after their spiritual support collapsed.
I have a friend who has studied Tibetan Buddhism very deeply. He calls himself a living Buddha and has put forward a set of theories that even I admire. He has many disciples on the Internet, and they are very pious to him. Not only do they give him material and financial support, but many female disciples also devote themselves to him.

I contacted this friend again not long ago and heard that this scammer had been completely exposed and arrested by the public security organs. The funniest thing is that he was not exposed by my friend, but he also deceived several women to be his lovers at the same time, and was finally sent to prison for "rape" by these lovers, which led to a series of fraud cases.
But even if the truth comes out now, what can we do? The feelings and money that have been cheated can never be recovered.
At my urging, my friend got back 180,000 yuan of the 400,000 yuan he invested in the scammer. When I left, I thought I had helped him recover half of his losses, but he was fooled and invested again. Well, I worked in vain.
In fact, if the scam is never exposed, the deceived people can always unite around the scammers, and then criticize those who oppose them, and advance and retreat together. This is not a kind of happiness.
For them, the collapse of their spiritual world after the scam is exposed is the most painful thing.
