Binance Launches “Vote to Delist” System
Binance has introduced a new system allowing users to vote on delisting certain crypto projects. However, final decisions will still be based on Binance’s internal review process.
How It Works
Projects that fail to meet Binance’s standards receive a “Watch Tag,” signaling potential delisting. The first voting period runs from March 21, 2025 (06:30 UTC) to March 26, 2025 (23:59 UTC). Users with at least 0.01 BNB can vote for one project from a selected list of five.
Potential Delistings
Binance has identified 22 cryptocurrencies at risk, including JasmyCoin (JASMY), Zcash (ZEC), FTX Token (FTT), Balancer (BAL), and Cream Finance (CREAM). These projects are under review, but only a few will be subject to voting.
Final Decision
While voting results will influence the process, Binance will assess factors like development progress, trading volume, security, and community transparency before making the final call.
This initiative aims to involve the community while maintaining a secure and reliable trading environment.
