$BNB Binance Coin ($BNB) is the native crypto token of the Binance exchange, launched in 2017. Initially, it was an ERC-20 token, but later Binance introduced its own blockchain (Binance Chain), onto which BNB was migrated.
The primary use of BNB is to pay trading fees on the Binance exchange and for other services, where users can receive discounts on fees. It is also used for transaction fees, DeFi applications, games, NFTs, and other crypto projects. Binance periodically burns a portion of BNB to limit its supply, in order to stabilize and increase its price.
