The company explained that part of its current cash balance, as well as proceeds from potential future debt or stock offerings, could be used for the acquisition of BTC. This action represents a significant departure from the retailer's traditional Treasury management strategy, following the prolonged demands from investors and supporters of digital currencies for the integration of cryptocurrencies into the company's financial structure.
