Pi Network makes a big move! Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is online, and without account protection, it's driving us crazy😱 2FA is here!
After launching its mainnet last month, Pi Network (PI) is making waves again! On March 13, it introduced Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to help pioneer users protect their accounts and Pi coins, making the mainnet migration more secure💪. Previously, Pi Day also added .pi domain names for purchasing with Pi coins, and now security is upgraded again!
How to use 2FA
Some pioneers need to bind a trusted email first; after completing 2FA, they can migrate coins. The steps are simple:
Bind Email: Those without an email can add one through proactive checking; the mining app will remind you, and only those who have completed KYC can do this. Confirm Wallet: After adding an email, mining or receiving an email notification will allow you to complete 2FA, or you can confirm it on the mainnet list. Email Verification: Confirm wallet access in the interface, receive an email, and then click again.
Be careful, only "[email protected]" is genuine; don't trust others to avoid phishing😓!
What if I don't do it?
If 2FA is not completed, pioneers in the 14-day processing period will have their coins restored in the mining app; it won't be available for transfer. The 14 days are to allow time for security checks, which doesn't affect the total amount. Once 2FA is completed, everything will be fine. If coins are returned, the migration will automatically restart after verification.
