On March 18, AiXBT, a well-known AI-powered crypto market commentator, suffered a security breach, resulting in the loss of 55.50 ETH (approximately $104,000). The hacker exploited unauthorized access to the bot's dashboard, queuing malicious replies that led to fund transfers from the Simulacrum wallet.

Despite the breach, AiXBT’s core systems remained intact. In response, the developer, rxbt, implemented several security measures, including server migration, key swapping, and reporting the hacker's address to exchanges.

Following the incident, the AiXBT token on Ethereum’s Layer 2 Base network dropped by 15.5%, reaching 9 cents.
