Back to Earth After 286 Days!
NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams have returned after 286 days in space, splashing down in the Atlantic Ocean near Florida at 5:57 p.m. ET. Their journey back took 17 hours aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon.
Joining them were NASA’s Nick Hague and Roscosmos’ Aleksandr Gorbunov, who spent nearly six months in orbit. After months in microgravity, they are finally home!
