On March 18, 2025, an attacker managed to compromise the control panel of #AIXBTUpdate , executing two unauthorized transactions that resulted in the loss of 55.5 ETH, equivalent to approximately $106,200 at that time.
The developer of AiXBT, known as "rxbt", confirmed that the main systems were not affected and that the breach was not the result of direct manipulation of the bot's artificial intelligence. In response to the incident, additional security measures were implemented, including server migration, key access changes, and the temporary suspension of the control panel to perform security updates. Furthermore, the addresses associated with the attacker were reported to exchanges to prevent future incidents.
