But at that time, I was just an ordinary employee, earning a modest salary, and I couldn't get a piece of the pie during the booming phase.
2016: The temptation of Internet finance
In 2016, I changed careers to enter internet finance, working in business development (BD), mainly finding partners for the company, which was essentially resource integration. At that time, I didn't understand finance well, I just felt that there were many opportunities in this industry with high returns. Later, I learned that the company was actually raising funds for postal currency dealers, with collateral being some artworks and similar items. It was at this time that I slowly began to understand the ways of capital.
2017: The world of capital pools and the first encounter with Bitcoin
In 2017, the postal currency and collectible card industry was completely banned, forcing the company to transform. Our main business became a public relations company for welfare specialties, while also seeking new business directions. At that time, I first encountered capital pools. What impressed me was that the leadership was willing to give me 200,000 yuan to specifically study the model of capital pools. Thus, I embarked on a wonderful exploration journey:
The first capital pool: I chose 'Huinong International', played with a bunch of points, and finally exchanged them for coins, which basically went to zero.
The second capital pool: 3M. This was a Ponzi scheme, but it was the first time I truly encountered Bitcoin. For a period, 3M required orders to be placed with Bitcoin, which piqued my interest in this new thing.
2017: The world of exchanges, the beginning of my cryptocurrency career
At that time, I was both young and poor, but had plenty of time to study new things. Because of 3M, I downloaded exchanges like Huobi, OKEx, and Jubi, and saw many coins with significant price increases, feeling that there were opportunities to make money here. Unfortunately, I didn't have much capital at the time and didn't understand trading well, so I could only look for people to learn from.
