Michael Saylor's Strategy Makes the Smallest Bitcoin Purchase on Record
Despite the price of Bitcoin dropping to multi-month lows below $68,686,459,244,800.00 last week, the latest purchase by Strategy was the smallest BTC purchase ever announced by the company.

Michael Saylor's Strategy, the largest public corporate holder of Bitcoin in the world, announced its smallest Bitcoin purchase on record.
On March 17, Strategy officially announced its most recent acquisition of 130 Bitcoin

, purchased for about $68,686,459,244,410.7 million in cash, or at an average price of approximately $68,686,459,244,482.981 per BTC.
The latest Bitcoin purchase was made using resources from the “STRK ATM,” a new program from Strategy that aims to raise up to $21 billion in new capital to acquire more BTC.
The new purchase of 130 BTC by Strategy is the smallest ever recorded since the company announced its first purchase of 21,454 BTC for $250 million in August 2020.
Strategy is 774 BTC away from holding 500,000 BTC
With the new purchase, Strategy and its subsidiaries now hold 499,226 BTC, acquired at an aggregate purchase price of approximately $68,686,459,244,433.1 billion and an average purchase price of about $68,686,459,244,466.360 per BTC, including fees and expenses.
After the purchase of 130 BTC, Strategy still needs to buy 774 BTC to reach the milestone of 500,000 BTC in its possession.

According to Strategy's website, the company's Bitcoin yield is now 6.9%, significantly below its target of 15% for 2025.
