I consider myself an old OG of BSC, having started with DEFI staking right from the beginning. I played staking on PancakeSwap, then after a while, I moved on to the liquidity pools for reinvestment, and even studied borrowing and arbitrage strategies. Although I didn’t fully understand it, it was quite interesting. I often watched videos on Bilibili where the hosts explained white papers, waiting for new projects to start mining. Many friends in the group would rush to the initial mining, and the most interesting part was the discussions and debates among friends about which trading pair pool would yield the highest mining profits, which often ended without a conclusion. Later on, when Doge and SHIB exploded the MEME coins, various projects in the zoo series on BSC took off, with daily trading of Dogecoin and numerous presales. For a project with high popularity, getting a whitelist was fiercely competitive. At that time, the project with the highest enthusiasm and best community building was Baby Doge; it truly felt like a barrage of arrows, leading by a large margin in votes across platforms. The community's organizational structure was excellent, with management and volunteers on 24-hour shifts, and the community's faith was extremely high—one of the highest I have seen for MeMe on BSC. During this period, the concept of the Metaverse was very popular. Elon Musk's mother even collaborated with a BSC project for a Binance live stream, which skyrocketed. After that, it was the NFT gaming track. At that time, the hottest games on BSC included a spaceship, a star shark, and BNX. I still remember when Star Shark launched, the leader of the long-established community (the top of the Doge community) started with 100 BNB. I didn’t have that much money, so I played a shark game to earn some small profits. The card game Binance Heroes was also popular for a while; the cards were quite interesting, but the lack of support from the market led it not to last too long. Subsequently, I participated in various new project developments.
Later on, there were suddenly various risks like pi xiu, liquidity pool withdrawals, pool reductions, and liquidation events. A nap could lead to total loss, going to the bathroom could lead to total loss, and even a meal could lead to total loss. Community building became unmanageable; it felt like there was no opportunity to build it properly. Just as I picked up my chopsticks, the food was gone, and I couldn't even get a taste of the chili skin. But I always maintained a belief: BSC will definitely bounce back, it will be good again; it just needs a little breathing space to shine again. So I have been steadfastly believing in building BSC up until today.
I have been telling many people for the past two years that BSC will absolutely return to its peak. And indeed, hard work pays off; BSC has returned, riding the wave of a tornado to reclaim its position. With a quirky concept on top and a motivational concept for Web3 workers, BSC was set ablaze again, reviving the entire BSC ecosystem. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wish BSC to be better year by year. Keep it up, all builders, everyone will achieve a satisfactory result.
