Sam Spratt announces Masquerade NFT competition winners
Digital artist Sam Spratt, known for his narrative-driven NFT series (The Story of Lucy), announced the winners of the “Masquerade,” an interactive competition related to his online puzzle party “Monument Game.”
A group called the “Luci Committee” consists of key participants and community members who selected three winners from those who contributed opinions to the project. Spratt congratulated the winners Roger Dickerman, Ekaitza, and Parabolamusic on X and began showing and distributing masks to the winners.
“The masks made for you are our bond,” Spratt wrote on the masquerade homepage: “What you give to the masquerade is absorbed, read repeatedly, and what you receive is exactly what I feel from you.”
He added that each mask “is inspired by my love for people and all the fun forms we take.”
Finalists of the Monument Game and those submitting outstanding contributions also received masks.

SquiggleDAO donates Chromie Squiggle to Nxt Museum
The decentralized collector group SquiggleDAO, focused on generative blockchain art, has long-term exhibited “Chromie Squiggle #5069” at the Nxt Museum, which specializes in new media and digital art in Amsterdam.
The “Chromie Squiggle,” created by Art Blocks founder Snowfro, is one of the first NFT projects to use on-chain generative algorithms, meaning each piece is unique at the time of minting.
Nxt Museum is known for its immersive tech-driven exhibitions, showcasing artworks featuring artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality that push the boundaries of contemporary art. As more museums display generative NFTs, this trend indicates a growing recognition of on-chain art by institutions.

Garga discusses the future of Otherside
Yuga Labs co-founder Garga shared new details about Otherside, the metaverse associated with Bored Ape Yacht Club. In a recent interview, he highlighted a Guinness World Record set during a first-person shooter (FPS) battle where thousands of live users participated in Otherside, breaking the previous record of 1,500 live users.
Solano also confirmed that the multiplayer game Project Dragon, co-developed with metaverse technology company Improbable, is just the beginning, as gamers can expect more interactive activities and the role of creators in shaping the Otherside world will grow.
“My long-term vision for Otherside is to make it the most thriving modular community in the cryptocurrency space…,” said Solano. “It should be the most fun, simplest, and coolest place for builders to come create 3D worlds or experiences.”

Sony collaborates with LINE to expand blockchain applications in Japan
Global electronics giant Sony is collaborating with Japan-dominated messaging platform LINE to expand its blockchain offerings.
Reportedly, this collaboration will focus on bringing four “mini-games” to Sony's Soneium blockchain platform built on Optimism's OP Stack.
This collaboration may assist in the mainstream use of cryptocurrency in Japan, where LINE has over 200 million users.
9dcc collaborates with Mastercard to develop wearable payment
Digital creator gmoney's web3 fashion brand 9dcc has collaborated with Mastercard to launch Pass to Priceless: Bay Hill Capsule, a limited edition collection offered to cardholders at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The capsule collection includes nine high-end pieces that blend classic and modern design elements, paying tribute to the history of the late golfer Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The clothing features contactless technology unlocking digital collectibles and limited edition goods in collaboration with 9dcc.

Axie Infinity launches new web3 game Atia's Legacy
Sky Mavis, the blockchain game studio behind Axie Infinity, announced the launch of Atia's Legacy, a new massively multiplayer online game (MMO), expanding its web3 ecosystem.
The game includes squad combat, resource management, and social interaction. Sky Mavis also stated that it is applying years of experience accumulated in web3 gaming to enhance playability and in-game economy.

My Pet Hooligan will land on Xbox
AMGI Studios' web3 multiplayer action game My Pet Hooligan is set to officially launch on Xbox.
Players can now add it to their Xbox store wish list before the game's release.
This move marks the group’s commitment to bringing blockchain-integrated gaming to a broader audience beyond PC and crypto-native players.

AI artworks at Christie's auction set records
Christie's held its first auction of AI artworks titled “Augmented Intelligence,” reportedly achieving a total of $728,784, with nearly half of the buyers being millennials and Gen Z, indicating a growing interest in algorithm-assisted digital art.
This auction includes on-chain works from artists such as Refik Anadol and Claire Silver, with Anadol's “Machine Hallucinations – ISS Dreams – A” selling for $277,200.
Jen Stark's immersive art lands on Sphere
Artist Jen Stark, known for her psychedelic and hypnotic visuals, debuted a new installation at the Las Vegas venue.
This large projection, titled “Cosmic Cascade,” transforms the venue's massive LED screen into Stark's iconic geometric patterns and bold rainbow droplets.
The work is part of Sphere's XO / Art program and will be exhibited twice every hour throughout March.

Jimena Buena Vida brings her art to Bitcoin Ordinals
Generative artist and coder Jimena Buena Vida released a limited edition ordinal series “Between Every Line, Love” on the digital art market Gamma for NFTs and Bitcoin Ordinals.
The series is only available to Gamma winter pass holders, exploring the theme of self-acceptance.
Buena Vida wrote on X: “We are accustomed to retreating, chasing quick results, placing external recognition above creativity, purpose, and love.” and described the project as a manifestation of choosing self-awareness over external pressure.
