The KYC deadline for Pi Network has passed while unverified users lose large sums of PI🚀💥💯🪙🔥
After several warnings and extensions, the deadline for Pi Network to migrate tokens has passed, and users who did not complete the KYC verification have lost large sums. The price of the asset fell by around 11% in response.
Some Pioneers claimed to be unaware of the deadline, while others are reporting technical difficulties with the verification process. One user in particular reported losing 10,000 PI tokens.
Needless to say, these migration issues are negatively impacting the price of PI. The previous bullish optimism was already fading, but the enormous losses of tokens and the unrest in the community accelerated the process.
Due to the large amount of tokens lost and potentially released into supply, PI decreased by almost 10%. Ultimately, it is uncertain whether these migration issues will have a long-term impact on Pi Network.
