#RamadanGiveaway

Like every year, when the first waxing crescent approaches that marks the beginning of the ninth lunar month of the Muslim calendar, the followers of Islam prepare to start Ramadan, a period of reflection and closeness to God in which believers fast during the day to commemorate the revelation of the Quran to the prophet Muhammad.

According to writings, the revelation of the direct words of God to the prophet – also known as Laylat Al Qadar, or the "Night of Power" – took place during Ramadan in the year 610 A.D. In addition to the 114 chapters dedicated to the words of Allah to the prophet, the Quran is completed with the hadiths, the writings of the companions of the prophet Muhammad about his actions and thoughts.

Islam, for which the faithful seek to achieve a spiritual closeness to Allah, strengthening their relationships with God and carrying out selfless and well-intentioned actions, as well as refraining from lying, gossiping, or fighting. However, Ramadan is much more: it is a time dedicated to self-reflection and caring for others.
