$BTC China's Bitcoin reserves are twice those of the USA

China owns 194,000 BTC worth $17 billion, while the USA holds 112,189 bitcoins valued at $9.9 billion.
El Salvador owns 6,089 bitcoins, equivalent to $537 million, while the United Kingdom and Finland hold 61,000 and 1,981 BTC worth $5.3 billion and $174 million, respectively.
While the USA discusses using the first cryptocurrency as a state reserve, it is possible that China is already working on a similar initiative.
David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., is confident that "China is now working with renewed vigor to create its own strategic reserve of bitcoins." According to him, after the last electoral cycle, officials in Beijing have intensified closed meetings, indicating a renewed focus on cryptocurrencies.
