$KAITO still inserted the pin, not sure if there's a second wave of short positions coming in, if there are short positions, they can still be squeezed, the first wave hasn't died out yet. Market makers raising the price is really not as complicated as you think, buying spot and then selling it off. Raising the market might not cost money at all or just a bit of fees to sort you all out. The only thing they fear is that people withdraw their spot and leave without playing anymore; this coin probably doesn't have many people trading spot.
