According to recent reviews, Binance will expand the monitoring label to include GoPlus Security (GPS) on March 7, 2025.
The monitoring label has been applied to GoPlus Security (GPS) due to a significant price drop immediately after the spot listing and certain market-making behavior from one of the GPS market makers (the "Market Maker"), which includes:
The market maker sold approximately 70,000,000 GPS tokens between 13:00 (UTC) on March 4, 2025, and 09:55 (UTC) on March 5, 2025.
The Market Maker did not place buy orders during the mentioned period.
The Market Maker continuously sold tokens right after spot trading opened.
The Market Maker was the main beneficiary, earning approximately 5,000,000 USDT.
The Binance account of the Market Maker has been temporarily suspended while we conduct a thorough follow-up investigation into this matter.
Tokens with the monitoring label exhibit significantly higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens. These tokens are closely monitored, and periodic reviews are conducted. Please note that tokens with the monitoring label are at risk of failing to meet our listing criteria and being removed from the platform.
To gain trading access to tokens marked with the monitoring label, users will need to pass the questionnaire every 90 days on the Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms and accept the Terms of Use.
