$BTC India is currently reevaluating its regulations on cryptocurrencies due to changes in global attitudes towards digital assets. The Secretary of Economic Affairs Ajay Seth indicated that the government is revisiting its discussion paper on cryptocurrencies, initially scheduled for publication in September 2024, to align with changes in international policies.

This reevaluation follows recent announcements of cryptocurrency-friendly policies by U.S. President Donald Trump, who ordered the creation of a cryptocurrency task force tasked with proposing new regulations for digital assets and exploring the development of a national cryptocurrency stock.
